Recovery Waters Counseling is seeking an additional Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) to join our team in Palmer, Alaska who will support our goal of bringing hope and healing to individuals, couples, and families affected by problematic sexual behaviors and betrayal trauma.

 

We offer a generous continuing education stipend and will pay for your certification as a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT), which sets you apart as a sought-after specialist. You will be provided mentorship by Alaska’s first Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT), Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT), and Certified Multiple Addiction Therapist (CMAT) to enhance you as an expert in this field.

The ideal counselor will have:

  • Current license by the State of Alaska (or able to become licensed in Alaska)

  • Comfortable and knowledgeable about technology and use of EHR systems

  • Excellent written skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Organized and able to manage time and documentation without oversight

  • Working knowledge of the DSM V-TR, clinical interventions and crisis management

  • Willingness to learn and grow

  • Must be willing to relocate to the Palmer/Wasilla, Alaska area
